Professor Kamrun Nahar Harun Honored at the 1st Convocation of Hamdard University Bangladesh

At the first convocation of Hamdard University Bangladesh, distinguished educator and professional leader Professor Kamrun Nahar Harun was awarded the Founder’s Gold Medal in recognition of her exceptional contributions to education and professional leadership.

Professor Kamrun Nahar Harun, Senior Director of Marketing & Sales and Planning & Development at Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, also received the Industry Impact and Professional Leadership Award for her outstanding achievements in industry impact and professional leadership. Her remarkable efforts in building a strong bridge between the education sector and industry, developing skilled human resources, and fostering leadership development were highly appreciated.

The convocation ceremony was held on Saturday at the university campus. Representing the President, Dr. A F M Khalid Hossain, Adviser for Religious Affairs of the interim government, formally presented the medal to Professor Kamrun Nahar Harun during the event.

This recognition reflects her long-standing commitment to empowering future professionals, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and contributing to the advancement of education and professional excellence in Bangladesh.
